Hospitality

Provide a welcoming environment at Hope Lutheran Church through a variety of activities including worship, events, and ministries.
Ministry

Engage with programming that serves all ages from infants to adults. Ministries that are most in need of volunteers include Hopetots, Hopekids, Confirmation and High School Ministry.

Worship
Be involved with worship through reading scripture, hospitality or setup/take down.
Technology
There are a variety of opportunities for video, photography, lighting and sound.
 
 
Open Arms Ministry

As a HopeCare volunteer, you care for people, help break the isolation, and bring the healing power of Jesus into the life of others through prayer, visitation, preparing and delivering meals and care baskets, and Stephen Ministry.

Music & Worship

Music and Worship are key elements in our mission for all people to know the love of Christ. There are a variety of serving opportunities including serving on our worship teams, playing in our bell choir, and singing in our adult choirs.

Serve In Our Community

Great Plains Food Bank

Volunteers accomplish vital tasks such as sorting, packing boxes, repackaging bulk items or other tasks. Wear closed toe shoes and clothing that can get dirty. Bring only water to drink. Located at 1720 3rd Ave N, Fargo. Enter the shipping & receiving door on the east side of the building.
 

Emergency Food Pantry

For over 40 years, the Emergency Food Pantry has helped feed citizens of Cass and Clay counties in times of crisis, unemployment, fire, family violence, medical problems, and other difficult situations. The pantry provides hungry families and individuals with wholesome food to tide them over during these times of emergency, fighting hunger in our communities, providing healing to families, and giving hope.

Churches United

Churches United’s mission is to provide Safe Shelter, Stable Housing, Nutritious Food, and a Path Toward Healing.Churches United relies on volunteers to help prepare and serve meals. Meal prep typically begins at 3:30pm, serving is 5:30pm-7:00pm at the latest. Please consider getting involved with this great organization!  

Fix It Forward Ministry

Fix It Forward has a goal to give away 1,000 cars. They have reached their halfway point but need continued support through volunteers. There are volunteer opportunities 4 Saturdays a month! 1st and 3rd Saturdays are at the Moorhead shop (2620 2nd Ave N) 2nd and 4th Saturdays at the Fargo shop (6219 53rd Ave S) from 8am-12pm; lunch provided. There is also a Tuesday evening option the 4th Tuesday of the month in Moorhead from 6-9pm. 
 

Whether you are a professional Technician, a hobbyist or a do-it-yourselfer, we welcome everyone who has an aptitude for basic repair and a willingness to learn.

There are also opportunities for other volunteer interests such as administrative duties, paperwork, or other non-automotive tasks.
