Infants (South Campus Only)
6 weeks-18 months, Maintains a 1:4 teacher to child ratio
Infants enrolled in the program adhere to their own individual schedule throughout the day. Information provided by the parents is used to plan each child’s day according to his/her needs. As a result, feeding, diapering and napping are an integral part of the daily plan. Enrichment and growth is encouraged through outdoor play, finger plays, songs, music, large and small motor activities and sensory experiences.
Toddlers
18 months-36 months, Maintains a 1:5 teacher to child ratio
Toddlers are provided with the opportunity to gain a sense of mastery over their environment through exploration and play. Creativity and freedom of choice are encouraged as toddlers assert their independence.
Preschool Age Childcare
3 years-Kindergarten, Maintains a 1:7 teacher to child ratio
The Preschool Program offers a wide variety of experiences. Through weekly themes the children learn new concepts, which allow them to extend their play and to share individual interests and ideas.
School Age:
After School Care
Enrollment is open at the North and South Campus for children who are in Kindergarten–5th Grade. Hope Center for Learning School Age Program is operated by Hope Lutheran Church and services are available to the public. Faithful lives grow through experiences in moving, playing, singing, tasting, dancing, creating and learning in an atmosphere where God’s love and grace is abundant and captivating. The school-age program has been developed with these goals and experiences in mind. While the children will participate in the traditional after school activities such as homework, recreation time and snack time, they will also be offered the opportunity for daily devotions and prayer.
Transportation for Hope Center for Learning-North – A Hope Lutheran Church van will pick-up school age children from Longfellow Elementary and Washington Elementary. A Hope Early Learning Center Staff person will walk with children from McKinley Elementary.
Transportation for Hope Center for Learning-South – Students will be transported from Centennial Elementary School to Hope Lutheran Church on the Energy Saver (public school) bus. A Hope Lutheran Church van will pick-up school age children from Bennett, Kennedy, Ed Clapp, Eagles, and Oak Grove.
Licensing
Hopekids Center for Learning is licensed by the State of North Dakota and conforms to all state laws regulating the operation of child care centers.

Children need many opportunities to build relationships that support positive attitudes, values and appropriate social skills. Teachers and staff strive to provide an environment that is safe, secure, structured, supportive and empowering, so that all children may grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
The guiding principle of Hope Center for Learning is that children learn about the Good News of Jesus Christ within a nurturing environment which stimulates learning in all developmental areas.
Admissions
Hope Center for Learning accepts all children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap or medical condition, provided the established program meets the need of the individual child with reasonable accommodations.
Enrollment
You must pre-enroll your child before their first day of attendance. To pre-enroll, you must schedule a short conference with the Director and/or Head Teacher and complete the enrollment forms.
Nutrition
The Center provides breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack to children in attendance. All meals and snacks are well balanced and meet the nutritional requirements of children.
