Worship Arts strives to create a variety of worship opportunities, all of which we pray through the Holy Spirit, will allow people to encounter the mystery of the triune God, experience the power of His Word and receive His unconditional love. It is our further prayer that we create a safe place for people to bring their greatest joys, deepest pain, inevitable doubts, God-given faith, and together raise up an authentic worship to the God who first loved us.
Worship Mission - To create an imaginative worship environment where all are welcomed into the transforming presence of God. To discover, develop, and nurture the artistic gifts of God's people. To effectively use God's gifts to communicate the message of Jesus Christ to our community and world.
Vision for Worship - (1)Through the power of teams, we identify, train, and equip persons with artistic gifts to be used to communicate Christ's message in the public worship setting. (2) Our vision is to build, enhance and grow all worship options to their full potential. (3) To create new worship options for specific demographic groups within the congregation and community.
Worship: A Language of the Heart
We understand that life experiences shape a person's "heart language" and they resonate more deeply, express themselves more fully in different styles of worship. For this reason, it is our continuing goal to create a variety of worship expressions that allow people to worship God in a style that makes sense to them, in their own "heart language."
Worship 24/7
We are loved by God every moment of every day, and we are called to worship Him 24/7! We are to worship Him in our work, our play, our eating, and in quiet times. We are called to worship God by serving others. Jesus said the greatest commandment is "To love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength." The second commandment is "To love your neighbor as you love yourself." Worship is not intended to be just one hour out of each week, but to be a way of life. Imagine how powerful that one hour can be as we all come together after a full week of service to thank God, praise God, cry out to God, receive God's love and be sent out again, to serve in His name!
