![]() Are you in 10-12th grade? Do you want some time to hang out with friends in an environment where you can ask questions about real life issues and how they relate to God, the Bible, and your developing faith?
Real Life meets on Wednesday evenings, 8:30-10:00pm at both campuses. It features large and small group interaction to discuss some tough topics, prayer time and some great music.
In addition to Wednesday nights, there will be guest speakers, service projects, fun events, small groups and trips throughout the year.

Welcome Kathryn!
"Howdy! God has blessed my life beyond measure and I am so fortunate to have been given the chance to work with youth here at Hope. I was born and raised in Fargo and have been a member of Hope Lutheran for as long as I can remember. I graduated from NDSU in2007 with degrees in Elementary Education, Child Development & Family Sciences and prior to that I was a 2003 graduate of Fargo South High School. Prior to starting as Director of Student Ministries I was the Supervisor of hopekids.asp at the South Campus. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, running, singing, being outdoors, and scrapbooking. I am also very blessed to have a great family! I have an awesome husband, Alex, two sisters (Marissa-20and Aana -7), 1 brother (Brenton-16) , my parents (Rose and Tim) and stepparents ( Rachel and Greg)."
Kathryn Kingsley will be our new Director of Student Ministry at the North Campus along with Mark Proulx.
We hope you enjoyed our new comprehensive Student-Parent Newsletter called "Milk" that was released in January! Everything you need for your Connect, Powerlife or Real Life student including a calendar, trip information and registration forms, event information, feature articles, games and more. This will be mailed bi-monthly to the families of CONNECT, PowerLife Confirmation and Real Life students.
Kids Need You! We Need You!
Are you a… mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, teacher, coach, carpenter, Microsoft tech guru, buffalo wild wings hostess, college student, organized, not that organized, sports fanatic, classical music aficionado, disco loving dancing machine, webmaster, mechanic or ____(fill in a description of you here)___... we need you!
There are many opportunities in the Children, Youth and Family Ministries. We are currently looking for volunteers for Faith Steps, Connect, Confirmation and Real Life beginning this fall. Our first training event will be held on September 3, 2008 at 7pm at the North Campus. Specific needs, job descriptions, forms to be completed, expectations, etc. will be posted on the Hope website in mid-August for you to peruse while you prayerfully consider becoming a part of this incredible team.
What? You don’t think you have the talent or the knowledge to volunteer in one of these ministries? You think you are too old or too young to volunteer? That is just plain nonsense. Remember, it’s about God. He can use all of us and the different gifts we are blessed with. So take a leap. Pick up the phone, get online or stop one of us in the hall. You can do it.
Below are some of the specific needs of individual ministries, but by no means is this an exhaustive list! Come talk to us…
