Arne Schjeldrup has been to C.A.R. and returned home Nov 29!

Lutheran Partners in Global Ministries

Arne Schjeldrup, long time member of Hope Lutheran, is taking a life transforming trip to Central African Republic (C.A.R.) to help install solar panels on roofs. Arne and Jan Jacobson from Alamo, ND are traveling together to Africa. (Jan will be teaching the women how to sew.)

In Cameroon, Arne will be meeting LPGM Board member Jim Noss, retired Lutheran missionary with strong ties to central Africa. His story is included on page 4 of the Winter 2011 issue of the newsletter for LPGM.

Want to learn more about C.A.R? Check out the Global Mission page of our website and/or the LPGM website.

Prayers:

Lord God, you have called your servants to ventures of which we cannot see the ending, by paths yet untrod, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The LORD will keep you from all harm and will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121:7-8)

Almighty God, as You have taken our lives and made them holy in the death of Your Son, Jesus Christ, so too take the labor of all our hands, but especially Arne's, into Your own holy hands to accomplish Your will. Strengthen us that discouragement, does not overtake us, that all we do may be pleasing in Your sight; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord. Amen

The LORD will keep you from all harm and will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121:7-8)

Mallari Page - Returned to Fargo on December 7!

Mallari Page, daughter of Noreen Clarke, is on a Mission Trip to Uganda in East Africa with New Hope Uganda. This program was founded in 1986 on a belief that God wanted family for the thousands of orphaned children in Uganda’s Luwero Triangle following the bloody reigns of Idi Amin and Milton Obote.

Mallari has sent  New Hope Uganda Newsletter called "Mallari on Mission"  telling of her experience. She would enjoy hearing from you by email: mallaripage@gmail.com.

Jessica's prayer requests for InnerCHANGE

1. We need a house. We have been praying and waiting for 4 years for the money, the property, and the location to pop up. Our need is great but so is our God. We want to live in the same place so ministry and community will be better equipped. We are asking God for $500,000 to go towards our house fund. Please pray in faith and trust with us believing in God's provision.

2. Our team is in a place of transition and change. We are growing, stretching, and changing as a group and as individuals. We are try to fine tune what life and ministry looks like while honoring the unique and specific ways that God has made us as a whole and individually.
Please pray that we would continue to work this out and that God would be glorified.

3. Please pray for a revival in the park. We are praying that God would move in a mighty way. Pray with us as we continue to ask for his kingdom to become a reality in this place and that more lives would come to know him.

4. Please pray that God would continue to raise up teammates both for our team and all the other teams in InnerCHANGE worldwide.

5. Please pray for those that we know in San Francisco that know
Jesus: that they would be strengthened and established in their knowing of him, that they would encounter the living God, and that they would have courage to follow hard after Jesus.

6. Pray for our team as we try to be obedient to the leading of God and his Holy Spirit in this city and wherever that would take us.

Things are going well here. I am gearing up to lead summer interns for our team. I am looking forward to some new movements forward in leadership and all that it holds for me and the Outer Circle. Thanks for all your prayers and faithful support of me, it is truly a gift that I am deeply grateful for.

In Christ,
Jess
