Care Basket Ministry

Care Baskets are designed for people experiencing some sort of crisis; for children who have a sibling or parent dealing with a life threatening illness; for non-profit community agencies such as the YWCA or Ronald McDonald House

  • Baby Baskets- for first time parent. Donation ideas: Receiving blankets, hand sanitizer, small  stuffed animals/toys, pacifiers, sox, booties, wet wipes, onesies, baby wash/shampoo, baby lotion, baby dishes/containers/silverware, towels, washcloths, bibs, bottled water, rattles
  • Personal Care Baskets- designed for people experiencing a chronic or terminal illness and made specifically for the needs of the person receiving it. Donation ideas: Bottled water, juice boxes, devotionals, crossword puzzles, puzzles, non-scented lotions, tea, hot chocolate, cider packets, hand sanitizer, pens, note cards, popcorn, fuzzy sox, cds, small Kleenex packets
  • Military Support Care Packages- Ideas for care packages include: sunflower seeds, Tootsie Rolls, individual crackers, sausage or beef jerky, DVDs, CDs, books, magazines, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, hand sanitizer, soap, eye drops and phone cards. Please do not include pork or anything glass or religious. Items may be dropped off at the Church Office at either campus.

 

Collection Box Ministry

The Collection Box Ministry collects items year-round to be given to different charities. Click here for the month by month donation list. If you know of a charity to collect for, call us with infomation about it.

Ongoing collections include personal care items, such as shampoo, soap, conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. (Motel sizes are accepted.) These items are donated to the YWCA shelter, Churches United for the Homeless and New Life Center. Donations can be dropped off at either campus.

 

Food Pantry

HopeCare encourages food donations to the Food Pantry.
