Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization with worldwide affiliates helping make simple, decent and affordable housing a reality. Hope Lutheran has partnered with Thrivent Builds With Habitat for Humanity and participated in building one house per year for the past six years to complete houses in six years.

THRIVENT/Apostle Build for Habitat for Humanity

During the month of August construction on our Habitat for Humanity continues to need volunteers to help finish the construction at 12 16 Goldenwood Drive, West Fargo. To help with the construction, sign up at:  www.lakeagassizhabitat.org  and click on "Volunteer Up" button. Please consider giving a day of volunteerism to Habitat for Humanity.

Volunteers needed for the following dates:

August 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 at 1216 Goldenwood Drive, West Fargo
Register online or by calling the office at 218-284-5253.
Groups are welcome!
Materials, tools and training are provided.
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (or half days)

Thanks to Arne Schjeldrup for being our Thrivent Champion at the site again this year!  Several of our members also serve as foreman at the site as well.  Way to go Team Hope!

A Special Thank You to the congregation for contributing financially to our portion of the build.  Through the sale of our 2X4s, shingles and special gifts we have reached our goal of $5,000!  Wow!  God is good...all the time!
