Mission Jamaica
PUTTING FAITH INTO ACTION!
Mission Jamaica provides a way for us to love and serve our neighbor as Jesus taught us through His love and service to others. The Mission Jamaica trip combines a service project with time for reflection and spiritual rest. It allows a person to experience an international mission field that is close to home, yet far enough away to immerse into another culture for a week.
We are in our 22st year serving with the people of Jamaica. This year the trips will be going:
- January 14-21, 2012 - is a family trip serving in the Montego Bay area. We will be working at Westhaven Children's Home and various J'Abode (Habitat for Humanity) build sites. St John's medical clinic may have a medica team there and need people to welcome and prepare patients as they arrive for medical care.
- January 21-29, 2012 - is an adult trip serving in the Kingston area. We will be working at Hope Valley Experimental School, Calalloo Mews Basic School and doing home repair and construction in the Calalloo Mews community. A medical team may also be working at Pennwood Clinic.
Estimated cost of $2,000 for these trips is all-inclusive. Costs and deposit amounts subject to change upon final quotes and prior deposit amount.
- A deposit of $150/person is required to reserve a space.
- The pament of $550 is due October 31 with a registration form.
- Balance due 60 days prior to departure.
