Gary  Clark

Gary was born July 11, 1931 and was raised in Watertown, SD.  Upon graduation from high school, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy during the Korean conflict and served aboard the U.S.S. Ronanoke CL 145 for four years.  After his discharge in September 1955, he attended college and was united in marriage to Myrtis R. Larson on September 1, 1957 in Aberdeen, SD.  He enrolled at Luther Theological Seminary, St Paul, MN and graduated in May, 1963.  He interned at the Choteau and Dutton Parish in Montana.  His first call was to Bethel and Immanuel Parish, Joplin, Montana.  He also served at: Trinity Parish, Forman, ND; Atonement Lutheran, Fargo as the organizing pastor; First and Fillmore Parish, Enderlin, ND; and Good News Lutheran, Fargo, ND.  He also served as the Pastor and Director of the Native Christian Ministry in Fargo and Moorhead, and Assistant Chaplin at Eventide Nursing Home, Moorhead, MN and Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND.  He has been the visitation Pastor at Hope Lutheran since March, 2006.
