Check out S.O.L.E. sisters, a fun night out for women of all ages. It’s a time to relax, laugh and learn as we build friendships together. There is no cost to attend.
We are women. We’ve all heard about the men in the Bible, but there are also quite a few biblical women. Women were also created in God’s image - let’s embrace how we were created! Women in the Bible had to deal with many of the same issues and situations that we deal with today. We can learn through their experiences and apply God’s biblical examples to our lives.
On Saturday, October 4, 10:00am-4:00pm, at the North Campus, we’ll be offering our first-ever Creative Workshop. To Be Announced.This workshop is designed to challenge you, to use both sides of your brain and to offer you a variety of outlets to express yourself. If you don’t think of yourself as a creative person, you might surprise yourself through selected activities. This will be the first of a yearly series of Creative Workshops focusing on different women of the Bible using the creativity that God gave us.
This fall’s session will focus on Ruth and how her relationship with her mother-in-law, Naomi, can guide us in our own relationships. Sign up for this session if your in-law relationship has been tense - or if you just want to make a good thing better. Tickets go on sale for $40.00/pair (lunch is included). This would be a great wedding, or anniversary present. (If your in-law cannot make it, mother/daughter pairs will also find this workshop beneficial).
MISSION: To take real situations women are going through and address them from a creative and eternal perspective.
GOALS of this workshop:
- To know Ruth & Naomi’s story from the Bible
- For women to tap into their creativity by offering different styles of learning
- To learn communication skills so women can grow closer together
