I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Psalm 139:14
Over 150 women of all ages from infants to grandmothers sang, laughed and discovered our beauty through God’s eyes.  We welcomed visitors from Denver, Seattle and Arizona.  Here’s what you said:
  • It taught me to love who God made me and be a good role model to my daughter.
  • I want to spend more time with God and be less busy in my daily life.  Refocus on what’s important – studying God’s Word.
  • We are all broken and God is the only one to turn to for freedom from our brokenness.
  • I am worthy in God’s sight.
  • God is our source of love, not others.
As a result of your love and generosity, two tablefuls of baby items and cash donations of $120 were donated and delivered to Churches United, YWCA, Nokomis and the Perry Center.  Thank you!

THANK YOU to all volunteers and our awesome planning team for their time, love and dedication:  Tricia Barrus, Nicole Benson, Leanne Pergande, Pam Davidson, Mary Ann Hansen and Kim Jacobson.

Beth Moore Live Simulcast
Straight Talk About God's Deliverance
Saturday, February 24, 2007, South Campus

What a life changing experience!  Hope hosted over 350 beautiful women representing 40 churches in the tri-state area on Saturday, February 24.  We spent an amazing Saturday together worshipping God and getting into His Word.  The live satellite event, featuring Beth Moore and worship leader, Travis Cottrell, was broadcast to 547 sites in North America and reached approximately 150,000 women!!  Here’s how women in our area grew in their faith:
  • It opened my eyes and heart to know that I have a purpose in this world.
  • It helped give me courage to get out of my pit.
  • It encouraged me to seek God in all circumstances and for all people there is hope through Christ.
  • Makes me want to learn more about God’s message of love and deliverance for me.
  • It opened me up to discovering my own faith and relationship with the Lord.
  • Reminded me of how deeply God loves me & of the victory I can have with Jesus.

I have told you these things so that you can have the same joy I have and so that your joy will be the fullest possible joy.  John 15:11

Over 150 women, representing 9 different churches, ranging in age from 21 to 82 shared some highlights from this year’s Contagious Joy conference:
  • Growing in faith, fellowship with other Hope women and singing with my sisters in Christ is so awesome!
  • To hear the struggles of others and see how they still find joy
  • It was amazing to see how God takes our broken pieces and makes us whole.  It’s this brokenness that allows God’s light to shine through us and draw others close to Him.
  • I realized I need to give my issues to God instead of trying to solve them myself.
  • Reminded me to thank God and depend on prayer
  • Uplifts and reminds me of what an awesome God we have and how much He loves us
…”in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28

Thanks to the AWESOME planning team!!  Without their organization and love, this trip would not have been possible:  Barb Lindvig, Christy Bertsch, Deb Dockter, Priscilla Smith and Gail Zehren.
